At The Great Escape Lee it is our deep desire that you experience with us the
joy of seeing young people commit and recommit their lives to Jesus
Christ. It is our hope to do this as a family and YOU are an integral
part of that family. The Lee University
campus has everything we need for a great week together - rolling green lawns,
state-of-the-art meeting space, a great student center with a food court, and
air-conditioned dorms. But even more important than the facilities, recreation,
and programming is the time The Great Escape allows you to spend with your
students. You do not have to worry about logistics and details – we take care of
all of that for you. It is truly our hope and prayer that this conference will
be an opportunity for God to impact the lives of hundreds of junior highers!
Arrival and Departure
Lee 1 begins Monday afternoon (June 16) with registration and is over
late Friday night following the final evening program. Lee 2 begins Sunday

not know your specific rooming arrangements until you arrive at The Great
Escape.

The unique aspect of TGE Rockies is the setting.

Crested Butte. Not to mention that there is hiking within walking
distance from campus. Add on top of that great teaching, outstanding
worship, small group and family time where you can dig deeper with your
group. The TGE Rockies Team is available to tailor your TGE Rockies
experience to your group’s individual needs.

Southwind
is a beautiful property owned and operated by Young Life. Southwind’s strength
is found in its focus on one concept per day and the “camp” atmosphere, which
helps create an immediate sense of belonging and community. You and your
students will enjoy wild recreation, an afternoon of snorkeling, late night
“aftermath” activities, swimming, basketball, ping-pong, a high ropes course,
bed time talks, fantastic speakers, creative skits, cool music, strong small
groups, and much more! All of this will enable leaders to connect with students
and guide them into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Arrival and Departure
Southwind 1 begins on Friday afternoon with registration and
is over late Wednesday night following the final evening program. Housing
is provided Wednesday night, however, no breakfast will be served

Random Details you need to know:
There should be one adult for every six youth you bring (1:6). There should be
male counselors for male campers and female counselors for female campers. Each
student coming to TGE Southwind will need to complete a YCM medical form
available here. Leaders, please bring two copies of each medical form
with you – one for you to hang onto & one to turn in to our staff when you
register.

We’ll be up front with you - The Great Escape Midwest is cooler than Bob Barker,
better than being on every Top 8 on myspace.com,
and more bad bottom than three feet of fresh powder in Lake Tahoe. In
short, it’ll blow your mind. If you want a place to really get to know
your middle school kids there’s no better place than at The Great Escape
Midwest!! Everything at our camp is built for the youth leader who wants as
much time with his or her kids as possible. WE DO IT ALL FOR YOU…and the
great thing is, WE’RE YOUTH LEADERS JUST LIKE YOU!! That means that we
know where you are, what you need, and the language that you and your kids
speak.
