Director of Children's Ministry
Zionsville Presbyterian Church
4775 W 116th St
Zionsville, IN 46077
www.zpc.org

Zionsville Presbyterian Church (ZPC) is currently accepting applications for their Director of Children’s Ministry.  The Director of Children’s Ministry has primary leadership responsibility for all ministry to children ages birth through 5th grade at the church. As the leader of Children’s Ministry, the Director leads the Children’s Ministry Team, supervises the Children’s staff, and oversees the entire network of volunteers needed to minister to hundreds of children. The ultimate purpose is to partner with parents to welcome, equip, and send children to live out ZPC’s mission to “be disciples who make disciples” in an age-appropriate manner.

This opportunity is an existing position that is opening due to the retirement of the current Director.  While existing programming is in place, the new Director will have the freedom to recreate or modify that programming as they see fit.

Key skills for this position are leadership development, a passion for children, and the ability to relate well to children, parents, families, volunteers, and other staff. The demonstrated ability to build and empower a large volunteer network would be a huge plus. A Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant work experience is required. Ordained and non-ordained candidates are welcome to apply.

ZPC is a dynamic, growing, seven-day-a-week, team-based congregation located in the Indianapolis metro area. The church has been cited as one of the “300 excellent protestant congregations” in a project funded by the Lilly Endowment. There are over 800 children registered in the ministry, with an average attendance of over 400 on Sunday mornings.

Additional information is available on the church’s website.

Interested candidates should request an application packet via email to zpcapps@yahoo.com.
